Regent House
was an empty office building of c.8,500sqft, over 3 floors in the heart of Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. The Landlord initially bought the freehold asset for residential usage but then re-fit the space for office leasing. After 2 years being empty and no leasehold enquiries a decision need to be made on the future of the building.
The landlord appointed Flexit to support him in transforming this asset into a modern coworking business centre.
What we did:
- Conducted the initial feasibility studies and ROI
- Built budgets, forecast models and marketing planners
- Tendered the space to IWG who presented a case to operate the building and already had presence in the area.
Post tender, the landlord decided to operate an 'owner occupier model'
- Selected all infrastructure suppliers and platform requirements
- Hired an experienced business centre manager
- Established a new website and listed on all relevant marketing channels
- Procured furniture and IT solutions
- Oversaw the operational set up and appointed H&S safety contracts
- Assisted with the launch of the building in May 2022
